Level

A level is a rating of overall power in the game.

Level Requirements

Probably the biggest incentive to level up and reach high levels is because most concepts in the game have level requirements, which means you have to reach a certain level first before you are able to use or interact with that particular thing.

All items have level requirements, meaning you have to reach a certain level first to be able to equip the item. All realms (areas) have level requirements, meaning you have to reach a certain level first to be able to enter that realm. All quests have level requirements to be started, as well as some quests having further level requirements for certain intermediate steps. All skills have level requirements, meaning you have to reach that level first before being able to invest skill points in that particular skill.

Level Progress Meter

The Level Progress Meter.

The Level Progress Meter shows how far you have advanced from your current level to your next level. The red slider increases as your xp increases. Holding the mouse over the left icon will give a pop-up box with detailed information about your progress.

  • Current Level – The level you’ve currently earned.
  • Progress – Shows how far you’ve earned towards the next level.
  • Current XP – How much experience you’ve earned so far from killing creatures in the game.
  • Next XP – How much experience is required to reach your next level.
  • Remaining – The ‘Current XP’ subtracted from the ‘Next XP’.
  • Gain Per Hour – How fast you gain XP automatically. It can be increased by certain pieces of equipment.
  • Next Gain – When you’ll get your next automatic XP gain.

Level Up

When you gather sufficient XP to reach your next level, you level up. Each time you level up you receive 5 level up points which you can invest in the five basic stats and 5 skill points which you can invest in any of the available skills.

XP Needed per Level

There are two formulas used to determine the amount of xp needed for your next level [1]:

Levels 1 - 12 = [(lvl-1)^2 x 100]
Levels 13 - ? = [(lvl-1)^3 x 10]
