Hell Forge

The Hell Forge permanently increases the stats and Enhancements of an item for a cost in FSP and gold.

Cost

Each time you forge an item it will cost 2 FSP and some gold. For items level 50 and below, the cost of the first forging is 7,500 gold and the cost doubles with each successive forging. After level 50 the cost of the first forging is 150 times the item's level and the cost doubles with each successive forging.

Second Forging forgelevel.pngforgelevel.png +10 to stat points, +4% to enhancements
Third Forging forgelevel.pngforgelevel.pngforgelevel.png +15 to stat points, +6% to enhancements
Fourth Forging forgelevel.pngforgelevel.pngforgelevel.pngforgelevel.png +25 to stat points, +8% to enhancements
Fifth Forging forgelevel.pngforgelevel.pngforgelevel.pngforgelevel.pngforgelevel.png +50 to stat points, +10% to enhancements

Each level of hell forging applies more bonuses to the item. Note bonuses below are cumulative at the level, not applied in addition to each level. Stat point bonuses are distributed between the stats of the item, so for example, if an item has stats in attack and damage, and is hell forged by two levels, the item will gain an additional 5 points to both attack and damage. However if the same item also had some points allocated to armor, each of the three stats would gain a +2 stat point bonus.

First Forging

  • This will add 5 stat points to the item's stats. These five points will be distributed evenly between the types of stats the item has. In the case of an uneven distribution, stats are always rounded up. For example:
  • If your item has stats for attack only then its attack will increase by 5.
  • If the item has points on attack and damage then each will increase by 3.
  • If the item has three or four stats then each will increase by 2 points.
  • If the item has five or six different stats then each will increase by 1 point.
  • The first Forging will also increase the Enhancements by 2%.

Second Forging

  • This will add 10 stat points to the original stats of the item.
  • If your item has already been forged one time then the second forging will add 5 points to an item with only one type of stat.
  • If the item has two or three stats then each will increase by 2 points.
  • If the item has four, five, or six types of stats then each will increase by 1 point.
  • The second Forging also adds 4% to the original Enhancements.

Third Forging

  • This will add 15 stat points to the original stats of the item.
  • If the item has one type of stat then it will increase by 5 points from the previous forging.
  • If the item has two stats then each will increase by 3 points.
  • If the item has three or more stats then each will increase by 1 point.
  • The third Forging also adds 6% to the original Enhancements.

Fourth Forging

  • This will add 25 stat points to the original stats of the item.
  • If the item has one type of stat then it will increase by 10 points from the previous forging. *
  • If the item has two stats then each will increase by 5 points.
  • If it has three stats then each will increase by 4 points.
  • If it has four stats then each will increase by three points.
  • If it has five or six stats then each will increase by 2 points.
  • The fourth Forging also adds 8% to the original Enhancements.

Fully Forging

This will adds 50 stat points to the original stats of the item.

  • If the item has one type of stat then it will increase by 25 points from the previous forging.
  • If the item has two stats then each will increase by 12 points.
  • If it has three stats then each will increase by 8 points.
  • If it has four stats then each will increase by 6 points.
  • If it has five stats then each will increase by 5 points.
  • If it has all six stats then each will increase by 4 points.
  • The final Forging also adds 10% to the original Enhancements.

History

Before the change of Hell Forging, the upgrade levels were known as Flames. During this version of the Hell Forge, each forge cost 10 FSP, up to a total of 50 FSP to Fully-Forge an item. The Upgrade Levels need confirming.

However, Forged Items were allowed to have their Flame Extracted, returning half the FSP spent to the user: if an item was Forged twice, the user would get half of the total amount of FSP spent. In this case, 20 was spent, so 10 will be returned to the player.
