Experience Points, more commonly referred to as XP or EXP, are points gained from killing monsters. These points will go towards the progress to your next level. Each level has a set amount of EXP that you will need to gain before advancing to the next level.

Like in real life, training for something easier than you will have you gain less experience. Likewise, hunting lower level monsters will yield you less experience for each kill.

For example: You are level 10. By killing a Level 10 Monster, you gain 40 XP. However, if you kill a Level 5 Monster, you may only gain 1 XP.
