I also started a [[Templates:fansite]] template just prior to the change to standardize the format of each link. Suggestion
Instead of deleting the contents of your talk page you should consider archiving it. For example: User talk:Belgrave/Archive 1

- I don't see much point in keeping much on my talk page when it's things like "j00 r da wiki king!" If it's a decent discussion, I'll keep it around a bit longer. Of course, you're right...
