Lol is an acronym for the words, Laugh Out Loud. This acronym is used widely in chat speak. In Fallen Sword, the acronym Lol can be found almost anywhere: in guild chat, in the Shout Box, FSBox, Player biographies, and the forum.
Another variant of this is ROTFLOL (Rolling on the floor, laughing out loud) which is a stronger version of Lol.
