GvG means guild v.s guild. There is a max of 50 outgoing and incoming attacks. Outgoing attacks are the amount of attacks your guild can use. Incoming attacks are the amount the other guild can use. GvG also takes up gold and sometimes fsp.

You might be asking why would people do GvG, well it gains you Guild RP if you win, your GvG Ratio and GvG Rating go up. Guild RP allows you to buy Epic items and buffs for the entire guild. The GvG Ratio and Rating are very alike to your PvP Rating. The only difference between GvG and PvP is that GvG is an entire guild and PvP is only one, individual player.
