Statistical Analysis
36 normal strikes against a demonic creature (I didn't count crits, piercings, etc...). Damage stat of 1017 and Banishment at 25%. I repaired all my equipment every 2 strikes. For every strike, I added the armor of the creature to the actual damage I made. The average value so obtained was 1029.47. (Min: 973, Max: 1083)
This seems to imply that you get +1 to damage against demons for every 2% in Banishment.
Use with caution however: the data set used is very small.
