DetailsYou encounter a battalion of human soldiers assembling defenses along the shoreline. The soldiers themselves appear to be clad in heavy, oriental-style armor with sheathed blades of exotic steel. The Captain acknowledges your presence and approaches you. "We need no help here, traveler. However, we could use your help in assisting the defenses at our other outposts. Our scouts have sighted several giant Turtle creatures that they have been assaulting our outposts along these shores. We would be grateful if you could check on our two other outposts. You'll find one of them North-west of here. The other you'll discover directly south of our position. I recommend you check the one North-West of here first. Good luck, friend!" You arrive at one of the outposts mentioned by the Captain you spoke to earlier. As with the last outpost, soldiers mill about, bolstering the coastal defenses designed to repel the Dragon Turtles. You are spotted by one of the outpost's Sentry Guards. "Hold it right there. What brings you to these dangerous parts?" You explain you were sent by the Captain of the first outpost you encountered, and that you were asked to check the status of this outpost's defenses. The Sentry Guard smiles and stands tall while extending a gauntleted hand towards the outpost. "We're ready for anything. So I suggest you move on, before we begin selecting targets to practice upon." The Sentry guard offers an arrogant smirk before returning to his post. This outpost appears ready to repel the Dragon Turtles. You will need to check on the other outpost. You arrive at the southern outpost mentioned by the Captain you spoke to earlier. In contrast to the last outpost you visited, this fortification appears to be completely abandoned. Nothing remains except the remnants of what appears to have been an active defense force of at least fifty soldiers. You catch a glimpse of motion out the corner of your eye, however you are knocked aside before you have a chance to react. A mammoth Dragon Turtle stands over you. You slay the Dragon Turtle with unparalleled skill. You stand only to see several further Dragon Turtle's thundering towards your position. You must defend yourself, and then clear the area nearby of any threatening Dragon Turtles before returning to the Northern Outpost. You'll have to kill 25 of the monstrous Beasts You arrive back at the first outpost you visited. You approach the outpost, however you still feel movement behind you. Have you killed all the Dragon Turtle's nearby? A patrol party emerges from the dunes behind you. You sigh as you realise that from beyond the dunes behind you a patrol party emerges. The outpost's Captain approaches you. "Ah, I see you have made it back alive. It's good to see somebody able to look after themselves out in this dangerous place. Anyway, did you check on the other two outposts?" You gulp down a tumbler of cool liquor before explaining the status of the first Outpost you visited, and then the unfortunate loss of the Southern outpost. The Captain replies. "Damn it. Now I will need to re-allocate troops to fortify the Southern Outpost. Thank you friend for reporting this! Here, take this as a token of our appreciation.
