DetailsA sense of urgency has gripped the once tranquil air of the cathedral. Monks dash from room to room, carrying stacks of tomes and other items. Others pray at the altar, pleading to the Four Gods to aid them. Brother Richard, who characteristically stands calm amidst the chaos, beckons you over with a gentle wave. "So you received my letter, good." Brother Richard's gaze wanders back to his panicked followers of Light. "I'm afraid Lady Nimue has discovered something truly terrible. Pray go to her, [USERNAME]. We need your help." Speak to Nimue Within the sacristy, brothers of Light are tending to six Portals glowing faintly within their own alcoves. Across every wall, there are carved depictions of men and women fighting against the darkness-- the hanging lamplight representing the blessings of the Four Gods. Noticing your arrival, Nimue walks to you, her steps resolute, and regards you with a gentle bow. "[USERNAME], thank you for coming. I'm afraid the situation has grown dire since our last meeting." Nimue looks to the Portals, and with a raise of her hand, each one is engulfed in vibrant prismatic light. The brothers step back, awed by Nimue's power, revealing six now active Portals. "Shades of Rosmeriat have appeared across the land. Aranevva, Rosmeriat's eldest daughter, has chosen Rasalas Keep as her base." "Aranevva and these shades must not be allowed to linger. They will wreak havoc across Erildath, causing irreparable damage, and tear the very fabric of time and space. I will not allow this realm to share the same fate as my home, Discordia." Nimue's unfaltering tone bids all to listen. She looks to you, her eyes brimming with determination, and in spite of it all, she imparts a smile. "[USERNAME], if you wish to aid us, will you meet me in Anora Forest?" "Then take the left-most Portal, I shall meet you on the other side." Nimue steps through the Anora Forest Portal. The emeralds that adorn her robes shine with an indescribable brilliance, her green hair fluttering wildly behind her, and soon enough she is gone. The brothers, encouraged by Nimue's charge, step through their own portals. Meet Nimue in Anora Forest (Clearing) "We are here," Nimue begins, unveiling her gem-encrusted staff, "Anora Forest. Long has this place remained hidden, blooming in the absence of man, only to be invaded by the Shade of Rosmeriat. [USERNAME], the nightmare is near. Slay it before it is too late!" Defeat the Shade of Rosmeriat "[USERNAME], have you defeated the Shade of Rosmeriat?" Holding out her palm, Nimue closes her eyes and the forest falls silent. You hear faint murmurs all around you. "Yes. The presence is gone." Nimue whispers, her brow twitching. "I had no doubt about it. It seems the structure of this place has managed to hold itself together." Nimue opens her eyes, her radiant smile a fair reward, though the tight grip on her staff does not waver. "Let us return to the Cathedral of Ways. There is still much to do." Return to the Cathedral of Ways (Sacristy) Awaiting your arrival, Nimue stands before the next Portal. "Volunteers from the Order of Light have appointed themselves as your guides through other affected realms. Next is the Specter of Rosmeriat, are you ready?" "The way is open for you, [USERNAME].
