Details

You make your way through the Lowlands and Highlands. True to the Hunters word, you have been attacked at random by howling Warriors. You have done your best not to kill as few as possible but these warriors seem more than a little crazed. You find the Village and are stopped by guards.

'Dinna care pal. Leave oor village or we'll throw ye oot.' You bristle and tell them that you'd helped their Hunter with killing Boobries and that they should fetch him.

The Hunter is brought before you with an armed Guard. 'I didnae think you'd come! Crivens!' A much larger man steps forward. 'I'm Chief McTeuchter o' Clan McTeuchter. This wee begger said he'd killed both thon burdies. You say it was you. We have a wee problem. I say we set you a wee challenge. Ye up to it?'

'Heh heh heh. Just some sport. I want tae see how well you fight. Defeat 25 of me Highlander Warriors. If ye survive, we'll take it a step further and so on until I'm satisfied.'

You return to the Village. Chief McTeuchter is waiting with his warriors. 'Have ye done it Whelp?'

'Really? Weel in that case, I reckon ye can handle me Champions. Fight five o' the Highlander (Champions) to a stand still if ye can!'

'Back again? There's no stoppin' you, eh?'

Your simple answer seems to annoy the Chief and amuse him in equal measures. 'Well ain't a cocksure wee whelp? Fair enough, ye hae nae problems wee ma people. How about the Druids? They are part o' the Clan but tend to stay in the woods huggin' the trees an' bein' all shadey. Dinna get me wrong though. They work powerful magic oot there. I want this list o' items off o' them. You receive 'List of Druids Proof'.

The Chief is standing with his men having a laugh when you return. 'Come back with yer tail between yer legs have ye?'

'Ye what? Y'beat em? Jings, you must be a strong 'un after all! Hmmmmm. I thinks you need to head further oot. One o' me Warriors will go with ye tae Heilan Edge. There you'll meet the Grey Men. They're fearful beasties an' no mistake. Meet me Lad at the Edge an' he'll tell ye what ye need to know!'

The Warrior you've been sent to meet is hiding in the snow, waiting for you.

'Ye do? Ye've got sharp eyes pally. Right! We're here tae kill Grey Men. They are big beasties so dinna underestimate them. Kill aboot 50 of them if ye can and bring me a head.'

The McTeuchter Warrior awaits for you as he cleans his blade. 'Aye aye pal. Manage to kill any Grey Men yet?'

The McTeuchter Warrior googles at you. 'Whit? All o' them and a heid? Jeepers! The chief didnae think ye'd manage these beasties. Weel, only a few things left the noo. Meet me in the Heilan Inner Caves.'

You meet the Warrior again. He looks genuinely worried by the area however. You ask him why.

'This is an evil place. The Caoineag are spirit of drowned wommen. This is a bit o' a test fer the pair o' us. We need to put as many o' these spirits to rest as we can and get a Caoineag Weed Shroud. If you can get a hold o' one o' them, I'll use the solution one o' oor Druids gave me to purify it. Let's get tae work.'

You find the Warrior. He looks worse for wear.

'Aye. Ah'll be fine in a wee bit. These spirits are a hard fight. Had any luck?' You show him the Weed Shroud. 'Ye got one! That's braw! Gie it here and I'll sort it oot with this here stuff the Druids gave me.'

You hand over the Shroud and the Warrior turns his back on you as he 'sorts out the weed'. 'Crivens! Ah didnae expect this!' He hands you an Amulet. 'This is whit it turned intae!'

'Right! One last thing he said tae do if we got this far then we can go hame! He wants us to go an hunt the fierce Haggis! Meet me at the Nis Port Outskirts!' You receive 'Redeemed Caoineag Amulet'.

The McTeuchter Warrior waits, anxious to get on the hunt and return home! 'Ye ready tae hunt the Haggis?'

'It's a fierce wee beastie! But it tastes braw so we need to get a kill several o' them to make enough tae feed the clan! Here. Take this list. It'll tell ye how many bits an' pieces we need!' You receive 'Recipe of The Clans Haggis'

'A'right. You got thon Haggis?'

'Och, that's a big, bonnie Haggis. Let's get back tae the village and have us some supper!'

You get back to the Village and the hope of a hot meal evaporates. The place is in uproar. The Chief approaches and he looks very, very angry.

'Those blasted MacDrookits o' Stoatin Island have kidnapped ma wee quine! We're gettin' the Clan ready to go and kick their backsides and get Megan back! They're gonna sacrifice her to the filty beastie in the water.

You try to calm the Chief down and tell him you'd be happy to go and save Megan and destroy the MacDrookits beast. 'Ye'd do that? Right! Meet me in ma Chiefs Hut. It's the big 'un!' You receive 10,269,690 Xp.
