As you enter the small village you are approached by an old man, dressed head to foot in black. Shivering from the cold, he stands proudly and addresses you. \'Noble Wanderer! Please help us in our plight. My followers and I are starving.\'

'We came to this land many months ago, the land was bright and full of life. Now it is dead and frozen. Our food supplies have gone, there is nothing left! I have seen these strange birds running fast and free. I am certain that they would provide food for my followers, but we are so weak we cannot catch them. If you could hunt down 75 Forest Turkeys, then we will collect them. You can help us save the village, or my name is not More-Pious-Than-Thou-Franklin!'

As you look from Franklin to his people, you can see that he is not lying. All are gaunt and their pale-skin is stretched over their bones. Their clothes are not designed for the cold. If these people do not get help soon, then the whole village will be lost.

More-Pious-Than-Thou-Franklin is waiting for you to return. He looks like he might collapse from the cold or hunger at any moment. It takes him a minute to recognise you. \'Noble Stranger, what news do you bring? Are you going to save my people?\'

'You are indeed a most generous person! Our village has a fighting chance of surviving this frightful winter. Your kindness will be remembered for as long as this village stands. Unlike those savages to the north. They haven't helped us at all, oh no. They can't even speak properly! But enough about them, we have work to do. Again, you have our thanks.'

As you watch, the villagers slowly start collecting the Forest Turkeys. As the realisation of what this means for them dawns, you can see the spark of hope growing within them. They might just make it through the winter after all. Your thoughts turn to those people in the north, those 'savages'. Who are they? How do they survive the cruel winters?

You see the fire before you see the camp site. The Negeti tribesmen let you enter the camp itself. From their clothing and tools, you can tell they are hunters, and well organised too. The eldest gestures you to sit down.

The Chieftain takes a draw on his pipe and sits back. Another Negeti steps forward and says, 'You are great warrior, but you know not what you do. Killing many Plains Turkeys invokes the wrath of The Great One. You brought doom on us, you shall be the one to fight it. Finding the beast will not be easy. Forge yourself an idol, it will lead to The Great One.'

The interpreter hands you an idol that he has made himself. If looks like a Wild Turkey, but much grander. He explains how to create one for yourself. You receive 'Recipe of Giant Turkey Idol'.

All the Negeti stop talking and stare at you as you enter their camp. You can see the unasked question on their lips. The interpreter steps forward, and expectant look in his eyes.

'You are skilled in hunting and in crafting. This Idol is good enough to work. Seek The Great One before he destroys us all. You will know him by his size and color. Pure and bright like the snow itself.'

With that, the Negeti return their attention to the fire. You know what must be done, and there are entrusting themselves to you. Find The Great One.

Silence descends on the camp as you approach once more. The interpreter stands and says \'The Great One, has he been stopped?\'

'Great warrior, you have proven yourself to us. Join our celebration, and take this Turkey Helm with our thanks.'

With that, the Chieftain slowly leans forward, face lit up by the fire. He takes a draw on his pipe. Breathing out slowly, he offers it to you. You carefully take a small draw and the rest of the night becomes hazy. When you wake you are feeling refreshed and ready to continue your adventures. You receive 'Turkey Helm' and 1,347,302 Xp.
