Virmalthorn takes the spinning vortex from you. The Zombie Warrior shrinks from it. Virmalthorn suddenly reaches for him and slams the Consistancy into his chest. The Warrior shudders for a moment then blinks up at him, utterly confused. The Skeletal Priest lifts him gently to his feet, 'How do you feel?' The Warrior gazes around for a moment, 'I feel fine, for the first time in decades.' Virmalthorn hovers his hands over him. Then he whispers, 'I see, you are basically your own person. I surmise that the Dreadlord didn't wish for fully sentient Warriors as they can be rather difficult to manage. You will need to feed on human flesh, but it can be dead rather than living. Eating dead humans seems to be slightly more acceptable to them, rather than eating them when they are alive. There is much less screaming as well, which is always a bonus.'

<span style="color:#009">Virmalthorn then unwraps the Scourge from him but it disintegrates into a heap of broken links. 'It seems that your blood also has become corrosive. That's interesting. When those who weaved the spell find out that you have your own mind it could go badly for you. Choose your way carefully Undead. From now on you make your own destiny. Always remember, that it was a Mortal that helped free you.' The Zombie Warrior nods, smiles at you - then turns and walks away.'</span>

After trudging through the endless snow fields you come across a small camp. Coming towards you are a group of hunters garbed in what can only be ceremonial dress. They stop in front of you, and the Leader shouts \'Are you here to return the Sun to the skies and end the Winter?\'

'Do you hear that men? Another joins us for the sacred hunt!' A cheer rips through the crowd, and with that, they start off in different directions. The Leader turns back to you. 'Sun Stealer has taken light from our skies, and Winter. Appeasing him is the only way to end the Winter. A sacrifice is needed.' He looks at you and laughs, 'No need to look worried, we hunt Snow Deer with their strong hearts, and Snow Foxes for their fur. From that a sacred relic is forged.'

The best hunting grounds are to the North East, near the Wyldfire clan. Be wary of them, they have strange beliefs. Make the Sunstar Talisman and join our tribe. Become a Blood Dreamer!' With that, the Blood Dreamer Leader joins the hunt, leaving you alone. You receive 'Recipe of Sunstar Talisman'.

By the time you return to the camp the Blood Dreamer Hunters are waiting for you. To a man they have all crafted their own Sunstar Talismans. They wait patiently for you to show your creation.

As one, the Hunters cheer. Their Leader shouts, 'Even the unblooded one has completed the ceremony! The Winter cannot keep the Sun from us forever! Tonight we celebrate!'

You think it is nearing midday when you wake up. The Blood Dreamers are still sleeping off the celebrations. It's time to leave this tribe. They mentioned another tribe that lives to the North East, and how they have a strange ritual with fire every year.

This village is surrounded by burning torches and small camp fires. The heat is enough to make you forget that it is mid winter. In the distance you can see a mountainous unlit bonfire. There is quite a commotion going on.

'Outsider! You come to watch Great Illumination?' Sparkflame of the Wyldfire clan points to the huge bonfire. 'We remind Sun of it's duty! Bring Sun and heat back to world! We light fire soon, but too many Snow Foxes around. Keep Snow Foxes away while fire starts, we honor you with piece of Great Fire. Go! Quickly now!'

Sparkflame of the Wyldfire clan breaks off from the main group and addresses you. \'Great Fire nearly ready. Have Snow Foxes been dealt with?\'

'Good. Great Fire must get started.' Sparkflame shouts to his clan, and within seconds the bonfire has been lit. Flames rush through the dry wood, arcing skywards like liquid fingers of light clawing at the stars. At it's height the blaze shines out like a beacon over the land, before slowly burning down. Eventually the bonfire is nothing more than glowing embers.

Sparkflame offers you an ember from the Great Fire. 'Take this. It brings luck for the year. Now the hunt for The Sun Stealer can begin. He responsible for Winter. Great Fire annoys him and draws him out. Time to strike is now. From the North he comes.' You receive 'Wyldfire Ember'.

The mood of the Wyldfire clan is subdued and damped, like the remains of the Great Fire. It\'s as if they are waiting for something to happen.

The clan look skywards, you follow their gaze upwards. Slowly, excruciatingly slowly, you can see the sun rising in the East and soaring back to it's rightful place in the heavens. You've watched the sunrise many times, but this is the first one you feel responsible for. Winter is over. You recieve 'Wyldfire Blazing Staff' and 4,369,142 Xp.
