Items category

Nice work. :) A concern I have for the current layout is - looking at Category:Helmets - It's not even finished and "WARNING: This page is 73 kilobytes long; some browsers may have problems editing pages approaching or longer than 32kb. Please consider breaking the page into smaller sections." is already coming up. Should the page perhaps be broken up a little i.e up to level 100 on one page, to 200 on another page etc. Also, do you think it's a good idea to have one item per article? i.e Assassins Hood I think you could at least have the same level of item on one article as in: Level 1 Amulets but of course with your formatting for each item. Please reply on your talk page. --Silverwand/Talk:) 22:33, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually, if you look at the item categories pages, while they are long, they can be edited every 20 levels. If you'd like to break them into shorter categories, 1-99, 100-199, etc, it could be done, but I personally think it would involve more navigation through categories and sub-categories, and the item categories template would need to be reworked to accommodate it. Perhaps another solution would be to move those lengthy tables to a Helmets page and link to that from the categories page. The tables are also sortable, so it can help with the comparison of item stats.

As for combining items, I did it the way I did so others can do a search for Assassins Hood to get all the info for that specific item without the need to sort through a long page of related items.

Good call, but, searching for "Assassins Hood" can redirect to the article that has assassins hood on it and as there are only a few items per level it won't be hard to find within the article. There can also be a contents box at the top of each article. I'll have a go and see how it comes out. --Silverwand/Talk:) 06:28, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
