History
Like all others, I suddenly awoke, I do not know for how long I had been asleep...Or whether I had ever awoken before. I found myself naked and alone. The rats were all around me, yet I was in a green and pleasant field, I tried to ignore the rats.
I am a noble and honest person, a lover not a fighter, but when angered there is little that can stop me. I killed the rats, for they had equipment and provisions, I do not know from whom they were taken, mayhaps they were mine from another life, mayhaps they were another poor fools who had lost their way. I wore the armour, I brandished the sword. Soon I was ready to venture forth, I spent many days slaying beasts across the land, lighting the darkness and protecting the weak.
Then I was invited to join a newly formed guild. "The Freddy Beach Guild" I joined in an instant and was welcomed, for perhaps a day or two I was a part of that guild and made a close friend, one whom I am still on contact, with Chuckler.
Yet on the third day, the sky blackened and a great storm descended! All the world was consumed in a great vortex, I awoke, and the last three days had been wiped from my mind completely as though they had never been, yet I regained my mind as remembered. I was guildless and alone once more so alone...
Then a knight, a valiant man in armour of purest white, his horses mane dazzling in the bright light reached down a hand to me and said in a voice of warmth and kindness.
"Welcome, I am a paladin from a great and noble guild The Paladin Order, I offer an invitation for you to join our noble cause. If you value lighting the darkness, vanquishing evil and riding them from this world, if your heart is pure and true, then join us."
I replied in a voice of modesty, mixed with dispair... "Great Paladin, I would gladly accept your invitation yet....I fear I am not a part of the light, I fear I have a darkness within me and so cannot join."
He merely laughed and placed me on his horse and rode to the great city of Palentith, a city of white marble, and beauty. All around whiteness, pure and glorious, a city! A great castle upon the hill, the bricks where white, they seemed to pulse with an inner magic, and a beauty I had never seen before. A great moat spread around the castle. I was taken to the high alter and inducted into the order, my hand upon the holy book of justice i proclaimed these words to the gathered assembly.
"I Horcruxe, do pledge myself to the light! I shall serve with honour and devotion! My sword shall defend the weak! My shield shall defend the helpless! My wrath shall undo the wicked! I swear to serve the light Until death takes me, or I am released from my duties do I make this pledge."
