Biography

Call me Jaya - Jaya the Spellshaper.

Since I know myself I had been living in a nice and peaceful village. People there appreciated my job because they knew they could always rely on me. As long as I have been living there I was also a vampire hunter. However, never in my life have I thought that once I would have to live that place.

One day I was asked to find and kill a vampire that I thought was only a legend - mostly because he was one of the most powerful vampires. I was told the forest I could find him in but I was also warned that there could also live werewolves. My friend - who was a vampire hunter too - said she wanted to come with me and I agreed.

After two days we finally found the forest. We did not need too much time to find the vampire we were looking for... and also a few werewolves. And so the battle started. As we expected fighting werewolves too we were ready for them and after a few hours my friend, I and the vampire were the only living beings.

We started fighting the vampire, but after a while my friend started acting strange. I only needed a few moments - precious moments - to realize she was bitten by a werewolf. And now she was transforming into one. But it seemed like fate more than ironical - while i was watching my friend's transformation the vampire bit me. This meant that I was in very big trouble. My friend became a werewolf - I turned into a vampire. A moment of madness for my friend and she killed the vampire. I was hoping she would still remember me, but little had I known about a werewolf's mind. Now she was attacking me and I couldn't fight her after all the time we spent together. I had two choices: either to kill her or to run away and forget about her. I chose the second.

I couldn't go back to my village - people there would forget about everything and they would start hunting me. So now I was on my own, with no place to go to and with an empty mind. Being myself a vampire now, I could not hunt and kill other vampires anymore. I also understood how many mistakes I had made by killing those vampires. Maybe actually people were the bad ones, not the vampires. Maybe there were good and bad vampires too - just like there are good and bad people, maybe I should forget my old life and get used to the new one. For a few years I had been living in some other villages; sometimes, because at the beginning people did not know I was a vampire, they even wanted to hire me to kill some. I always tried to refuse their offers and after a while I have to leave that place too and again start looking for another one. I refused being a killer anymore.

After a while I found a small vampire community and I decided to try living with them, but I just couldn't get used to their stationary life, I had to move on. And so I started a new journey; tired of stupid people and desperate vampires; tired of being alone.

One day I met another vampire called Kiken. She asked me to join the Mermaid Knights to help them fight against the devilish creatures from hell and similar evil beings. Finally a chance came to use my vampiric powers to save the world, so I joined them and now they are my family and my friends. Now I know that my place is with them; Mermaid Knights - that is my home now. And I will never leave it.
