Talk:XP Gain
From Fallen Sword Wiki
Misleading
The article is misleading. XP Gain is the official name of an enhancement, people coming here to learn what it does are bound to get the wrong idea. The article more or less implies that the XP Gain enhancement will improve your XP gains all accross the field (fights, quests,...) which is not the case. And lots of people are bound to come here for that purpose: all the items articles for items with an XP Gain enhancement link to here; that's more than 70 articles at this moment. There was a reason to my modification... By the way, there is also a 4th way to get XP: buy it with FSPs.

- XP Gain is actually a stat like Armor and HP and the others, and not an enhancement. On items with XP Gain, it is in the same list as those bonuses and not in the enhancements list on the other side. The only time you see it in a list of enhancements is when you have a list of set stats but that list includes both stats and enhancements.
- XP Gain is one of the hourly gain stats, the others of which are Gold Gain and Stamina Gain. However, stamina gain was removed from items since it was overpowering and replaced with stamina. There is nowhere to see how much xp gain you have without having to do your own calculating, but you can see your 'Gain per Hour' by mousing over the XP icon in the Top Information Toolbar. If you want to read more about it, check out what it says by the upgrade.
