Containers are special items which are generally used as holiday gifts, prizes for Global Quests, or promotional incentives to purchase FSP.
Inside each container is a potion of the recipient's choice, selected from a menu of available potions. All containers of the same type have the same menu of available potions. The recipient clicks on the container to see the menu of available options, then clicks on the potion that he would like to receive. The container is immediately destroyed, and replaced in the player's inventory with the desired potion.
Most containers are bound items, as are the potions they contain. A few containers are unbound, and these often fetch high prices in the Auction House.
Containers should not be confused with chests, which they often physically resemble, nor with potion bottles.
